- Gelocast, the original Unna's boot, is impregnated with zinc oxide and calamine to soothe irritated skin.
- The nonraveling gauze is uniformly coated so it is easy to handle and mold to the limb providing a semi-rigid cast; cast immobilizes strains and sprains.
- 100% cotton base does not unravel reducing wastage.
- Each bandage is sealed in an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) bag to prolong shelf life.
